EA6 Cube V2.4

Holistic Enterprise Architecture

Six faces, one enterprise

The EA6 Cube names and populates all six faces of the enterprise architecture cube. Four of them share a single five layer structure, which is what turns a conversation starter into a metamodel.

Enterprise Architecture serves as a meta-model and approach that encompasses all dimensions of an enterprise. Strategy drives business, which drives technology. John Gøtze, PhD, EA Fellows

The same five rows, asked four different questions

Faces 2, 3, 4, and 5 each contain exactly five rows, and those rows correspond to the five architecture layers of Face 0. Each face asks a different question about the enterprise, but it asks that question at the same five levels of abstraction.
